Naini Lake

Nainital Lake is a natural kidney shaped fresh water body situated amidst the township of Nainital in Uttarakhand. Brightly colored sails of yachts dot the calm waters of the lake while crowds throng the Mall at its edge.The Naini Lake is surrounded by mountains on three sides & the reflection of the Himalayan peaks in the lake forms a breath taking view. Boating in the lake is one of the favorite activities of the tourists.

Nainital Mall Road

Running parallel to the Naini Lake, the Mall Road is 1.5 km long road which connects two ends of Nainital town i.e. Mallital and Tallital. Nainital’s Mall Roadwas built by the Britishers in 1841 and serves as the prime location for culture, food & shopping for the visitors today. The Nainital Mall Road is synonymous to the city itself& is officially called Govind Ballabh Pant Marg.Located adjacent to the majestic Naini Lake, the Mall Road is a vibrant place with a unique vibe coupled with serene surroundings.

Snow View

Located at an altitude of 2270m, the Snow View is a Mountaintop scenic spot featuring a ropeway to panoramic vistas of snow-capped Himalayan peaks. One can have a close-up view of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Nanda Kot peaks etc. via the telescope available there.One can also enjoy the mesmerizing view of the city Nainital as well as the Naini lake from the top. Naina Peak

Naina Peak is the highest point(2615 m altitude) in Nainital & is also known as China peak. From here, the city of Nainital appears like a majestic shining bowl. The trek of 6 kms. from Mallital to the Naina peak is challenging but the breathtaking views of Snow-Clad mountainsfrom the top make it worth the effort.

Naina Devi Temple

At the upper end of the attractive Naini lake, a temple of Naina Devi is located. One can enjoy marvelous view of the city & the reflection of the mountains in the lake from this Serene place.

Tiffin Top

Gurney House

Reconstructed from the carted remains of Jim Corbett’s dismantled house on Alma Hill which got destroyed in a landslide, this house incorporates lots of interesting facts about Jim Corbett’s Life. Jim Corbett was a British hunter, tracker, naturalist and author who hunted a number of man-eating tigers and leopards who preyed on people in the villages of the Garhwal and Kumaon divisions in Uttarakhand. Recognizing his contributions, India’s first National Park was renamed to Jim Corbett National Park as famously known today.
